In these images we see the beauty of the desert in bloom, a phenomenon that occurs in the Atacama Desert in Chile, though not consecutively happens every year, only when rains are abundant and frequent in the desert, causing the seeds and bulbs that are in the dry lands of the soil to germinate in the early spring by offering a beautiful and unusual sight in the desert.

                                          The yellow añañucas are characteristic of sandy soils.
